The Importance of Posture
Everyone knows we are supposed to have good posture, but why?
According to the American Chiropractic Association, maintaining good posture helps to keep our bodies in alignment. This prevents strain on our muscles and ligaments, which can cause pain. Everyday activities such as sitting at a computer or reading can lead to bad posture. It is important to make a conscious effort to sit up straight and engage the muscles that help with posture.
There are plenty of exercises that you can do to help with posture! You can check out the videos on our website to see some examples of how to stretch and strengthen your muscles.
