As a California State Licensed Message Therapist, I take pride in conducting my services professionally with a high level of dignity and integrity. In my native Japan, I was raised in a family of chiropractors, acupuncturists and massage therapists. 20 years ago I made my way to the United States and started studying alternative medicine. For the past 8 years, I have worked with sports therapists using rehabilitation massage therapy to deal with a variety of sport and work related injuries. I use integrated message to customize each patient’s individual therapeutic rehabilitation.
With rehabilitation massage therapy, my massage is a site specific treatment, with a specific goal to be achieved. Many therapies that I perform consist of relieving tight, sore muscles that can cause a lack of blood to soft tissues, alleviating nerve compression, deactivating painful trigger points, treating chronic pain and inflammation, calming nervous systems, improving of range of motion and flexibility. Many of my patients experience severe back, neck or shoulder pain. My goal for every patient is to return their body to optimal function and maximum performance!
