Running Injury Prevention Program
The Running Injury Prevention Program was developed specifically for runners to concentrate on areas that are often neglected from the repetitive nature of running. We concentrate on Strengthening of the abdominals, lateral hips, and glutes. Along with a concentrated effort applied to education, flexibility, and range of motion.
Our program is an 8-week course with a different emphasis each week. That is created and instructed by a licensed PT.
Research shows an 8-10% increase in efficiency can be obtained with programs like these during a normal training cycle.
Please also look into run mechanics if you are interested in gait analysis.
Shoulder Injury Prevention Program
The Shoulder Injury Prevention program allows any athlete from any throwing sport to work on totally body strengthening to help prevent injury.
51-55% of overhand strength comes from the lower extremities. Isn’t it time to be strengthening correctly? This service is provided by our Physical Therapists who are athletes themselves.
